He has over 25 years of extensive knowledge and expertise in all aspects of electrical installations, including emergency lighting and fire alarm systems – and has two books published on the first two subjects, and proof read and edited many others, including one on the latter.
His impeccable communication skills and ability to coach and mentor others has enabled him to become a highly successful and respected member of the electrical industry, and this is reflected in his attendance and contributions at the BSI committees responsible for the technical content of UK’s Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) over the past five years.
As a confident and respected presenter and trainer within the industry, his reputation has gained him guest speaker appearances at ECA, IET and CIBSE events and also on the BBC, ITV, and radio.
Having recently left Electrical Safety First, he is keen to build on his proven track-record for delivering on service and results by working as a professional presenter, trainer and technical consultant for the following organisations: the Electrical Contractors’ Association (ECA), the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the Association of Electrical Safety Managers (AESM).
